PDFs and passwords stay in your browser

Reading, page previews, reordering, rotation, deletion, and PDF export run in your browser. There is no file upload endpoint or cloud file storage in this tool. PDF contents, filenames, and passwords are not sent to us or to an external processing service.

What the browser loads

Your browser requests the website's HTML, styles, JavaScript, PDF.js worker, fonts, CMaps, and image decoders from the same site. A local QPDF WebAssembly engine is loaded when a PDF needs repair or decryption. These are tool resources, not your document data.

Temporary data and downloads

The open PDF, edits, and thumbnails are held in memory while you work. Clearing the file, loading another PDF, or leaving the page releases the tool's references and temporary preview URLs. No PDF or password is stored in cookies, local storage, or a database. Ordinary browser caching may keep the site's code. Downloaded PDFs remain wherever your browser saves them until you remove them.

Analytics and advertising

This version does not load analytics or advertising scripts. It does not set tracking cookies. If these services are introduced, this policy will need to describe the actual providers and behavior.

Website hosting

Serving a website involves ordinary network requests to the hosting provider. The provider may process request information such as your IP address, request path, and browser headers under its own policies. This is separate from PDF processing in your browser.

Your choices

You can clear the file at any time. Keep any downloaded documents on a device you trust. If you do not want to keep a download, remove it from your device and browser download history.
